Road construction can be dangerous. Construction crews often have to work close to traffic, sometimes just one lane away from moving vehicles. While this can pose a threat to road workers, it is also hazardous for drivers passing by. Work zones often contain several obstacles for motorists that may not be clearly marked, which can increase the risk of a serious accident. A road work site can be filled with hazards if the proper precautions are not taken.
